About AiFanFlix

Where AI Meets Fan Imagination

A home for fan films made with AI tools — set in the games, films and stories people already love. Watch what the community is building, and see exactly how each piece was made.

Why this exists

AI filmmaking tools got good very quickly, and the work made with them ended up scattered across general-purpose video sites — mixed in with everything else, stripped of the context that makes it interesting, and impossible to search by the thing you actually care about.

Fan work has a second problem: it is a genre in its own right, with its own conventions and its own audience, and it is almost never treated as one. A film set in a world you know is judged differently from an original short, and it deserves somewhere it is the point rather than an afterthought.

So this site does one narrow thing well. Every film here is fan work, every film here was made with AI tooling, and every film here can be filtered by the source material it draws on and the tools that built it.

What makes it different

Built around source material

Films are organised by the world they draw on, so you can follow a universe rather than trawl a general feed.

The workflow is part of the work

Every film can carry its prompts, audio pipeline and render settings. For most creators here that panel is the reason to visit.

Filterable by tool

Each film is tagged with the AI tools that made it, so you can find work made with the tools you are learning.

You decide what you see

Creators mark mature work, and you choose whether it is blurred behind a click, hidden entirely, or shown as normal.

How it is paid for

Platform-wide advertising, and nothing else. There is no subscription, no paid tier, and no per-film payment. Nobody can pay to rank higher in a feed or to appear in the spotlight.

That is a deliberate constraint rather than a stage we are passing through. Fan films are built on worlds their creators do not own, and selling access to them — or letting creators sell access through us — would turn a tolerated tradition into a licensing problem. Keeping money at the platform level and away from individual films is what lets this exist at all. The Creator Guidelines spell out what that means when you publish.

Fan work and rights holders

Fan work exists because many rights holders tolerate it, not because it is permitted by right. We take that seriously in both directions. Creators publishing here warrant that their work is either their own or genuinely transformative fan use, and that they have not cloned a real person's voice or likeness without permission.

Rights holders get a route that works: our DMCA page takes a takedown notice without an account, and we act on valid ones. Creators are told why something was removed and can file a counter-notice.

Who runs it

A small independent project, not a studio and not backed by one. That shapes what you should expect: features arrive steadily rather than all at once, and the suggestion board genuinely decides much of what gets built next. If something is missing or broken, posting it there is the most direct way to reach us.
