Terms of Service

AiFanFlix is a community platform for AI-generated fan films. We do not host video files. Films are embedded from third-party providers such as YouTube, Vimeo, and X, and remain subject to those providers' own terms.

1. Accounts

You must provide an accurate email address and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend an account that repeatedly breaches these terms or the Creator Guidelines.

2. Creator rights warranty

This is the core obligation for anyone submitting work. When you submit a film you warrant that, to the best of your knowledge:

• you created the work, or you hold the rights necessary to publish it here; or
• the work is a transformative fan creation that adds new expression, meaning, or commentary rather than substituting for the original;
• you have not used another person's voice, likeness, or performance without their permission, including via voice cloning or face replacement;
• you have disclosed the AI tools involved as accurately as you are able;
• you accept that you, not AiFanFlix, are responsible for the content you submit.

We record the date and time you accept this warranty for each submission.

3. Fan works and third-party intellectual property

Many fan works reference characters, worlds, or music owned by others. Tolerance for fan work varies by rights holder and is not a legal right. Nothing here grants you permission to use anyone's intellectual property, and we may remove any film in response to a copyright notice or at our discretion.

4. Monetisation

AiFanFlix is supported by platform-wide advertising. We do not sell individual films, take a revenue share from creators, place ads against specific works as a paid placement, or operate paid tiers that gate particular films. Creators may link to their own external support pages, such as Patreon, from their profile.

5. Prohibited content

• Sexual content involving minors, or content that sexualises real people without consent.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery, including synthetic imagery of real people.
• Material that harasses, threatens, or incites violence against a person or group.
• Synthetic media presented as genuine footage of real events or real statements.
• Straight re-uploads of someone else's film, with or without cosmetic changes.
• Malware, spam, or attempts to circumvent platform security.

6. Moderation

Members can report a film from its page. We may remove content, retire a film from public view, or restrict an account. A removed film is retired rather than erased so that a record of the action remains.

7. Your content and licence to us

You keep ownership of what you submit. You grant AiFanFlix a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display your title, description, thumbnail, disclosed tooling, and embedded player on the platform and in platform promotion. You can withdraw a film at any time, which ends that licence going forward.

8. Disclaimer and liability

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, AiFanFlix is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform or from content submitted by others.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the platform before they take effect. Continuing to use AiFanFlix after that point means you accept the revised terms.
