If you hold rights in a work and believe something on AiFanFlix infringes them, you can send a takedown notice using the form below. You do not need an account.
Before you file
Many films here are transformative fan works. If your concern is attribution rather than infringement, a report from the film's page may resolve it faster. Filing a notice in bad faith may carry legal consequences for you.
What a valid notice needs
- Your name and contact email, and the organisation you represent if any.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
- The specific URL of the material on AiFanFlix that you are reporting.
- A statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorised.
- A statement that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
- Your electronic signature.
What happens next
We record your notice with a reference number, review it, and where it is valid we retire the film from public view and notify the creator. The creator may submit a counter-notice if they believe the material was removed in error; if they do, we will pass their counter-notice to you and may restore the material unless you pursue the matter further.
Repeat infringement
Accounts that accumulate upheld copyright claims may be suspended.
